MLR Motorsports-Year in Review

For those who are associated with MLR Motorsports it was a good year! It wasnt the easiest year with many of us feeling the backlash from a slowing and uncertain economy that left the racing ranks a little thinner then in years past. Juan Paulino was able to thrive in 2009 winning many races and finishing in the top 3 consistently in FARA, NASA and SCCA.

Shea Holbrook had a slower year then expected but was able to make the most of the opportunities that came her way. She competed in the PBOC 6hr race way back in January with one of her Diva Speed teammates Donna. She was able to pick up a couple wins with FARA and manged to race with NASA from time to time also. 2010 looks like it could be a great year for Shea she was able to balance school and marketing this past year and it looks like her personal marketing has really helped get her name out there and we hope to see her in take a step forward to the next level of racing :) GL Shea!!

Matt Lang owner of MLR Motorsports had a very slow year with only 3 track events in 2009 one of which was a SPEED World Challenge race at New Jersey Motorsports Park in a Dodge SRT-4. This wasnt the best of weekends for Matt but it was nice to be racing professionally and rubbing shoulders with the best. 2010 looks like another slow year with maybe a one or two pro event schedule in the new World Challenge. I am hoping that these new changes help bring the series back to what it once was when I first became interested in racing.
